ENDOWED MANKIND

Where does a man buy a cap for his knee?
Or a key for his lock of his hair?
Should his eyes be called an academy, because they are pupils there?

In the crown of his
knee, what gems are found?
Who crosses the bridge of his nose?
Can he use, if a picture requires to be hung, the nails on the ends of his toes?

On his hands, can palms grow?
Or are his lens eaten as the bean?
If his sockets were connected aren’t they enough to produce light for a bulb?

Should his ears be made a blacksmith’s shop because he has an anvil there?
Or could he also use his ears as hammer for his nails?

Who arrests the criminals for his cells?
And if he uses his eye rod as a fishing rod, will it catch a shark?
Or where would he buy a joint for his bones?
If the crook of his elbow is put in gaol,
I’d say,”what did he do?”
But how does he sharpen his shoulder blades?
I’m hanged if I know.
Do you?
